Presented by www.swflnonprofit.net, to benefit the Animal Refuge Center, Inc.

Teams of pooches and their people gathered at the Calusa Nature Center and Planetarium on Saturday, March 11 to walk the trails in support of the animals at the Animal Refuge Center. Honorary "Leaders of the Pack" were Krista Fogelsong of FOX-4, Judd Cribbs
of WINK-TV and ARC's own Katrina rescue, "Libby", escorted a leash-trained ARC Board Member, Wayne Leimen. Congratulations to Team Snow Coates which raised the most pledges. Special thanks to our sponsors: Linda Saha Pet Portraits, Ivy Chalice,
Pet Supermarket, PETCO and the PETCO Foundation; and all of our volunteers from
ARC and the P.O.L.O. Club of Lee County. Over $3000 was raised which will go directly towards the care and feeding of the ARC residents.

ABOUT THE CHARITY:

The Animal Refuge Center is a 501(c) 3 for impact animal welfare society. We are a non-euthanasia organization dedicated to caring for all orphaned animals brought into our care. ARC's on-going mission is the education of residents about the importance of spaying and neutering their animal companions, with the ultimate result being the elimination of euthanasia. ARC is dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals and to the prevention of euthanasia for abandoned dogs, cats and other small pet animals. Its philosophy avows that once an animal is accepted for adoption, it will NOT be destroyed to make room for another.

THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS:
